Lemorton Calvados
From a picturesque farm typical of this most southerly part of Normandy the Lemorton family have for six generations been producing the highest quality farm produced Calvados Domfrontais.
Rodger Lemorton together with his son Didier run the domain. The appellation constitutes that at least 30% pears are used in the production of Calvados Domfrontais but the Lemorton family use at least 70% all of which are grown on the farm. After eleven months in oak barrels the cider is distilled using a wood fired single alembic still which visits the farm every year in September.
