The Chalet
Chalet Chasseur is an owner run luxury 5 star chalet only minutes from the Chair lift at Le Masses, which takes you straight into the 4 valleys system. We your hosts Helen and Nigel will be on hand to guide and help make your stay everything you would hope it to be.
Location
Les Collons-Thyon 2000 is a skiers and boarders dream having great snow from November to April. Located at the end of the 4 valleys it benefits from one of the largest ski regions in Europe with over 400 kms of pistes and over 100 ski lifts.
The ski area above Les Collons has fabulous wide sunny slopes perfect for all and includes one of the most famous ski slopes in the Alps, the fabulous Piste de L'Ours. With some of the best off piste you can ski everywhere, there is no need to ski to Verbier but you can get there on skis in just over an hour.
Facilities
Arranged on three floors with three en-suite bedrooms all with flat screen TV's, English Sky and under floor heating, two with bath/shower and one with shower and private access to the upper communal balcony. The open plan living/dining area with mezzanine above has under floor heating; log fire and a large picture window, which opens out to a large balcony with stunning views across the valley.
The chalet also benefits from a sauna with separate shower and heated boot rack in the basement. The chalet is of the traditional style and finished to highest standard including comfortable sitting area with WIFI Internet connection satellite television and DVD/entertainment system.
Summer self catering bookings will have use of the modern fully equipped kitchen and a further ground floor bedroom with en-suite including spa bath with separate shower, bed linen but no towels will be provided.

Helen and Nigel your live in hosts will prepare home cooked meals for six days of the week. On their day off, they will prepare a Continental-style breakfast and afternoon tea and that evening you can eat out in one of the local restaurants.
Cereals, bread, and pastries with preserves, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice. Unlimited tea and coffee with a hot dish of the day, which will include eggs or porridge or beans on toast etc.
Home made cake, unlimited tea and coffee. Just the thing after a hard day on the slopes.
Home cooked three course dinner with wine, aperative, after dinner Calvados
Helen is a trained chef and happy to cater for most special dietary requirements, but we must be made aware of this on booking so we can plan the menu.

Chalet Chasseur in the snow sure Villages des Pyramids which is situated five hundred meters from the Le Masses chair lift below the resort of Les Collons at a little over 1500m.Free private transport morning and afternoon is provided to the lift at Les Masses.
The Billabong board park is located at Thyon 2000, also close by there is paragliding, ski schools, helisking, cross-country, night skiing with torches, ice skating and snowtubing.

Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, swimming pool, tennis, paragliding, glacier skiing & walking, aqua park, lakes, quad bikes, water sports, horse riding, many great vineyards and much more.
With the traditional Swiss village of Heremence below, Les Masses its lift and restaurant just 500 yards away and the Les Collons resort just 200 metres up the mountain. Les Collons links into the Verbier ski system, Just 1h45m from Geneva and 20 minutes from medieval town of Sion with its restaurants, bars, shops and museums. Les Collons is located at the end of the 4 valleys and is part of one of the largest and highest ski regions in Europe, it is also within easy reach of Evolene, Crans-Montana, Grimentz and Zermatt. The village faces east and catches the morning sun and there are magnificent mountain views to enjoy.
In the centre of Les Collons there are a couple of hotels, several good restaurants and a few bars, the real charm of the area is the feeling of traditional Switzerland as you gaze down at the larch forests with delightful chalets dotted over the slopes and church spires in quaint villages on the other side of the valley.
Price Chart
Winter from £2500 to £4200 based on six people per week catered Summer from £800 to £1000 the whole chalet for eight people maximum self-catering.
Change over for this chalet is normally Saturday, airport transfers from Geneva 1h45m or Sion 20 minutes are included in the catered winter price. Please contact us for further details and availability, we are flexible so send us your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.
