For when you don’t want to go far the cottage is set in over a hectare of grounds that border woodland, orchards and fields.  Local markets for fresh country produce, bbq and garden furniture at your disposal why not just stop and relax. A great base if you are looking to visit the Calvados domains for a tasting or tour and discover true Calvados country

The cider barn has two double bedrooms and one twin sleeping 6 people, bathroom, upstairs kitchen and living space.

Fully equipped hand made pear wood kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, 90cm range cooker.  Living area with flat screen tv, English sky, dvd/cd, leather sofas and central heating (available for winter let).  The price includes linen, towels and cleaning.

This medieval building is being sympathetically restored and is full of charm all in all it’s a wonderful place for a rural country holiday.

Our field which borders woodland great for playing sport, walking or nature spotting.

Distances: Ferry ports Caen 1h15m, Cherbourg 1h.30m, Le Harve 2hours, Calais aprox 5 hours - Airports Dinard 1h30, Rennes 1h20m

Local attractions: Mont St Michel 45mins, Beach 45mins, Arromanches and the landing beaches 1h30m, Mortain waterfalls and hill 341 American memorial 20mins, enchanted village (day out for the little ones) 15mins, horse riding, golf, swimming, cycle hire, bungee jumping and go-karting are all close by.  Lots to do for all the family.

The small market town of St Sever 7km away has a supermarket, bars, pizza take away and Saturday market, the larger towns of Vire, Avaranche and Villedieu (famous for it's copper cooking pans) are all within a 30min drive.

Low season April-June, September-July £475 for the property which sleeps six people including linen, towels and cleaning 

High Season - July, August £575 as above - B&B & short stays available on request
